UCL Art Museum: After Hours
June 21, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm| £15.00
Fancy a glass of champagne in the beautiful Flaxman atrium (above) followed by a private after hours curated tour of a little known but totally fabulous London Art Gallery?
Then join us for an amazing and rare opportunity to see around this secret ‘hidden gem’ of a London museum. Peak into drawers that you wouldn’t normally have access to, feast your eyes on a Rembrandt and celebrate 400 years of Shakespeare through their ‘pop up’ exhibition. It’s YOUR perfect Tuesday evening!
The UCL Art Museum‘s collections contain over 10,000 objects including paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture dating from 1490 to the present day. Works on paper are housed in a traditional Print Room setting in the museum, and paintings and sculpture are displayed in public rooms around college. The collection was founded in 1847 with a gift of the sculpture models and drawings of the Neo-classical artist John Flaxman.
Meet, listen, learn, taste, explore.
Men are welcome as guests of women attending.
Ticket price: £15.00.
There are a very limited number of *tickets available for this event and they can ONLY be purchased online.
*There will be no tickets on the door.
